They meet

Hi all,

This is a piece of art that I’ve had in the back of my mind for quite some time.  These two lovely creatures belong to the oh so talented ReQuay .  The dog is a real life malamute of hers and the horse is a harp Arabian for DA.  For those of you who don’t know they are both named Keira; one to love and hold in real life and the other as a character to love and strut online. Unfortunately Keira the dog is not doing well.  She has a long health history and her dear owner has done anything and everything to give this dog the best life ever.  If there ever were a pampered fluff princess it would be her   This dog has been given all the love that my dear sister (or anybody) could give.  But with all things, times does eventually catch up.  I love this dog as a family member but live in a distant state and don’t think that I will be seeing her again before she passes.  I am not saying it will be in the next week or even month but money and time away from work will prevent flying to see them anytime soon.  So instead I present this piece of art to Requay as homage and love.  As a remembrance that she may pass but she’ll never be forgotten; by those who love you/her and any who see your beautiful art online. Give that little squishy eyes some love for me.

I can’t even say how emotional I got trying to work through this picture and writing this part.  I know I cannot even begin to do these two justice but I wanted to do this so badly for you sister.   Know that I love you and your beautiful puppy dearest!
